Whether you enjoy regular facials or are looking to try your first one, you are in safe and very capable hands at our Harrisons Hair Salon in Sandgate. Here’s an insight into what you can expect if you book a facial with us.
Who should have a facial?
For some people, facials are about pampering and indulgence. For others, facials form an essential part of their skin care routine; a bit like visiting the dentist or attending Pilates classes. Whatever your goal or skin type, we can all benefit from the attention of a trained beautician.
How they work?
We use Dermalogica® products for all beauty treatments because they are a high quality, professional range of products with an emphasis on improving skin health. All Dermalogica® products are free from common irritants and our beauty therapists are highly trained in selecting the right products for your skin.
Consultations start with a short but thorough analysis of your skin, using Dermalogica’s unique Face Mapping® skin analysis, which will enable your therapist to understand your skin, zone by zone. From this, they will create a bespoke facial treatment and offer advice on how to create an effective skin care regime that will give the best results for you.
Your therapist will select the products suited to your skin, which they will use during your facial. Essentially, all facials are based around the following steps: an in-depth cleanse; facial massage; exfoliation; a nourishing mask; hydration and skin protection.
Following your facial, your therapist will talk you through the needs of your skin, the products they have used and also offer advice on how to create the best skin care regime for you to adopt at home.
Feel good factor!
